چکیده
Objective: The aim of this study is to reveal the biochemical fingerprints Achillea gypsicola Hub.-Mor., Alyssum nezaketiae Aytaç & H.Duman, Onobrychis germanicopolitana Hub.-Mor. Simon, Paracaryum paphlagonicum (Bornm.) R.Mill and Thymus leucostomus Hausskn. et Velen. grown in extreme gypsum habitats with Attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) technique, determine differences densities organic inorganic compounds reflected by environmental conditions. Materials Methods: Using ATR-FTIR spectra, chemical content endemic plants was elucidated. In addition, band intensities were calculated using spectra. By doing soil analysis, physical properties regions where grow tried be understood. Results: As a result detailed analysis it understood that substance similar, but amount different from plant plant, regardless soil. These results showed same species contain amounts chemicals. Conclusion: FTIR spectroscopy an effective tool reveals contributing determination structures on substrates. Our provided evidence for presence sulfate molecules calcium oxalate compounds. This study, which first growing Turkey, will enrich generality future studies interpretation other gypsophytes world.

Quality Control of Valerianae Radix by Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform Infrared (ATR-FTIR) Spectroscopy.
(Acetoxy-)valerenic acid and total essential oil content are important quality attributes of pharmacy grade valerian root (Valerianae radix). Traditional analysis of these quantities is time-consuming and necessitates (harmful) solvents. Here we investigated an application of attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy for extractionless analysis of these quality attribu...
متن کاملRapid Quantification of Methamphetamine: Using Attenuated Total Reflectance Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) and Chemometrics
In Australia and increasingly worldwide, methamphetamine is one of the most commonly seized drugs analysed by forensic chemists. The current well-established GC/MS methods used to identify and quantify methamphetamine are lengthy, expensive processes, but often rapid analysis is requested by undercover police leading to an interest in developing this new analytical technique. Ninety six illicit...
متن کاملAttenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectra of faceted diamonds.
Attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR FT-IR) spectroscopy has been employed for characterization of faceted diamonds. ATR spectra of round brilliant cut natural diamonds of approximately 0.1 ct were observed with excellent spectral quality. The mirror-flat spectrum of the table facet enables a good contact to the ATR crystal with a minimal applied pressure. The observed AT...
متن کاملEffects of oxidative irrigants on root dentin structure: Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy study.
AIM The aim of this study was to compare the effect of oxidative irrigants on the organic and inorganic structure of root canal dentin. METHODOLOGY Fifty human 2nd premolar roots were used in the study. The dentin specimens prepared from those teeth were immersed in liquid nitrogen for 15 min. The frozen composition was titrated in a mixer and the obtained dentin powder was kept frozen at -70...
متن کاملMultivariate analysis of attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR FT-IR) spectroscopic data to confirm phase partitioning in methacrylate-based dentin adhesive.
Water is ubiquitous in the mouths of healthy individuals and is a major interfering factor in the development of a durable seal between the tooth and composite restoration. Water leads to the formation of a variety of defects in dentin adhesives; these defects undermine the tooth-composite bond. Our group recently analyzed phase partitioning of dentin adhesives using high-performance liquid chr...
